Supplement Enhancements, Precise ID Updates, New Report Format Options,
LOS User Updates, and More
New Features and enhancements to XOP and the client side of XpertOnline are scheduled for release Wednesday morning, February 19th, 2020. A new XOP version will be installed upon login Wednesday morning.
This release is packed with time-saving features that you and your clients can take advantage of, including the ability to order multiple supplements at once, a new due diligence feature for Precise ID to speed up underwriting, plus additional output format options, LOS interface updates, and more. Read on for complete information.
New Feature Enables Clients to Order Multiple Supplements at Once We are pleased to announce that your clients can request supplements on multiple accounts at the same time. With this new feature, your clients can view details on trades, identify those that need manual verification or work, and order all supplements with the single click of a button. This is especially helpful and time-saving when the same kind of work needs to be requested on multiple tradelines (e.g. verify the balance on multiple accounts). The ability to order multiple supplements at once is being released alongside the current supplement process so your clients’ workflow is not interrupted. Clients can use the existing process while becoming accustomed to the new features.
How to use this feature: Access the supplement request page, either from linked accounts on the credit report delivered to the LOS, or from the client side of XpertOnline. Right away, users will notice a new tab at the top called Trades. Moving to this new Trades tab shows the screen below. Users will instantly see all trades list here with the ability to expand each for account details, check a box to request a supplement on each, and then the supplement request detail panel at right. Users can perform the same action on multiple trades in this view, helping them work more efficiently.

Make Sure All Precise ID Alerts are Verified with New Notes and Management Reports We are pleased to provide a full due diligence system to help your clients make sure that any reported Experian Precise ID alerts are followed up on and verified. A new Precise ID Notes tracking feature, combined with a management report, makes it easy to verify that any Precise ID alerts have been acknowledged, investigated, and rectified by a Loan Officer/Processor. Compliance officers and underwriters at your clients’ office use the management report to verify all alerts were followed up on. The ability to add Precise ID Notes will allow the loan officer to annotate any updates to red flag alerts identified by the Precise ID service on discrepancies/risks in the phone number, address, driver’s license, SSN, and OFAC matches. These notes can then be verified by a compliance officer in a management report in XOL to make sure these alerts were investigated.
How to use this feature: Any client that has the Precise ID product enabled can use this feature. Once a credit report has been delivered and there are Precise ID alerts found, the user can either access the Precise ID Notes feature from the client side, or from the PDF credit report delivered to their LOS. When doing this, users will see the Notes screen shown here where they can review the red flags, add notes, and upload documentation that proves that due diligence was done on the alert. All notes are date and time stamped to prove that red flags were verified.

Client User & Checkup Enhancements Additional User Profile Edit Information for Tracking and Management We have expanded XOP’s edit log tracking information so it keeps track of who is doing what under your account. Now, whenever a user enters notes onto a client user’s profile, the date, time, and the name of the user that added the note will all be tracked on the User Activity Log. How to use this feature: Login to XOP, go to Setup | Clients, and search for the client whose User Activity Log you want to view. Once you have located the client, click the Users… button to view the list of users under this client. Select a user, then right-click and choose User Activity Log for Selected User. For any notes that have been added onto this user’s profile, you will now see Date/Time Modified information as well as the name of the user that entered the note. You can also select the User Activity Log for All Users option to view logged edits to the Notes field. |

New “Interface” User Type Reduces Password Issues Between LOS and XOL This XOP release makes it easier to validate users between the LOS they are using and XpertOnline. As you know, password requirements continue to become more stringent to ensure consumer data security. We have created a new option that allows you to designate client users as “Interface” users. When checking the new Interface Only checkbox in XOP on a client user’s profile, certain password restrictions will be bypassed, so the user will only need to be validated with XpertOnline once. After that, their password will not expire, and will not need to be changed. For security reasons, interface-only users will not be able to login to the XpertOnline client side directly. They will only be able to access XpertOnline to order credit reports from their LOS. How to use this feature: Login to XOP, go to Setup | Clients, and search for the client company you want to enabled. Once you locate a client, click the Users… button to view all users under this client. From here, you can either create a brand new user and setup this client up with a single Interface user, or you can modify an existing user (keeping in mind that, when you check the Interface Only checkbox, this user will no longer be able to login to XpertOnline directly). Move to the Detail tab, find the Interface Only checkbox and check it. When ready, Save your changes.
- Best Practices Suggestion: to make sure data continues to be secure and access continues to be controlled, we recommend using XOP to create a single Interface Only user under a client’s user list. Then, users in this organization can use that login in their LOS to order credit reports. Users can still use their personal login and password credentials to access XpertOnline to order supplements, UDMs, CreditXpert, etc.

Option to Print Checkup Comparison Reports The Checkup tool that most of your clients rely on to help with new debt identification between origination and closing will be updated to allow clients to print the comparable report. Now, for hardcopy reasons or disclosure purposes, the report that is pulled – either the brand new report, or an existing compatible report – can be opened into a PDF reader and printed from there. How to use this feature: Login to the client side of XpertOnline, open a request, and click the Checkup option at right. When Checkup opens and you either compare with existing reports or order a new Checkup report for comparison, the XOL reference number is now a hyperlink that can be clicked. When a user clicks this link, the Checkup report will open into a PDF file, and the user can go to the File | Print menu option for printing a hardcopy.

New Origin Report Option Helps Track and Manage LOS Orders The Origin Activity management report that many of you use to keep track of where your credit requests originate from has a new LOS entry: Empower. Now, any credit reports that are ordered by your clients through the Empower LOS will be tracked with this management report option. How to use this feature: Login to XOP, then go to the File | Management Reports | Other Custom Reports | Origin Activity menu option. On the Origin Activity report configuration screen, click the Origin drop down list, and select the new Empower entry. Finish setting your date range, then click Run Report to see how many requests within the specified date range were from the Empower LOS. Remember: only users with management reporting user rights can access and run management reports. |

Additional Supplement and Credit Report Output EnhancementsFind Consumer-Disputed Trades Faster with New Output Addon To help identify trades that are marked by the bureau as “In Dispute” we are providing a new output addon that will highlight disputed trades in Red text in the trade narrative. The new addon is called Highlight Dispute Narrative in Red, and is available for product list style products on the PDF Lender and HTML Lender Report outputs. When enabled, XpertOnline will scan through all reported trades looking for the word “Dispute” on the trade. If identified, the narrative will highlight in red, allowing you and your processors to quickly find disputed trades. How to use this feature: Login to XOP, then select Setup | Clients and locate the client whose product outputs you want to update. Move to the Setup tab, and click Lookup Product List, select the product list you want to update and click OK. Then expand and click on the product you want to update, and click the Product Detail button. Find the output for this product, then click the Addons button, and scroll down until you find the Highlight Dispute Narrative in Red output addon. Right-click on this output addon, set it to Selected, then Save your changes. The addon will then be enabled, and any reports pulled with this product will highlight disputed trade narratives in Red text. |

New: Order Public Record Supplements Even though public records are ordered from the PitchPoint system, sometimes your clients need verification or follow up on items returned in the PitchPoint public records report. Now there is a way to do this. Much like ordering a general supplement on a request, your clients can access the Supplements screen and from here, place a general supplement request for a public record. How to use this feature On the supplement request screen, click the Click Here to leave a general request for this report link at top. Login if needed, then find the newly-added Public Record Supplement checkbox and check it. The user can select a common comment, or enter their own comment in the comment field below. Either way, the user needs to identify which public record item they want supplemented. When ready, click the Post Comment button to order a public record supplement. |
