Release Information for Managers

Starting Friday Morning, July 17th, 2020, the EPN settlement services and Tax Verification Provider (TVP) platforms will be updated with new features and enhancements listed here.  This release includes the data entry and UI change we notified you about last week: the SSN data entry fields are migrating to the Applicant Info and Co-Applicant Info section of the new order screen.

Additional new features in EPN provide better tracking and activity management, and TVP updates include new IP address registration options, client setup efficiencies, and more.  Read on for complete information.

EPN: Ordering Screen SSN Fields Migrating to Applicant/Co-Applicant Info Section
As we announced last week, this release includes moving the SSN data entry field to the Applicant and Co-Applicant sections. We are enhancing EPN with this data entry field migration to keep similar borrower data in the same location on screen, and to make it more obvious to your clients when they need to enter this information.

Your clients are probably accustomed to entering the Applicant and Co-Applicant SSN at the vendor level.  You may want to advise them of this change so that they are aware that it is coming soon to reduce confusion and phone calls.

How to use this feature:
When your clients create a new order, the Applicant and Co-Applicant Information sections will now include the SSN data entry field.  They can optionally enter the SSN before they start adding vendors.  If they leave the SSN blank, and then add a vendor that requires the SSN data as part of the order, the field will become required to proceed with ordering.

EPN: New Custom Reporting Data Fields for County Data
EPN now provides you with an additional option to configure your custom management reports. You can now include county data in your custom reports, and not just the subject property county: you can choose to include applicant, co-applicant, and subject property county in your reports. The new county data can be included on both Manager and Vendor reports.

How to use this feature:
Login as a manager or vendor, and click either the Manager Reports or Vendor Reports menu.  On the Reporting page, you can either create a new report and check the corresponding App, CoApp, and Property County data, checkboxes to include in your new report; or, you can edit one of your existing reports, then find and check the App, CoApp, and/or Property County data checkboxes.  Be sure to Save your changes.

TVP: All Orders Management Report Now Includes Originating User Name
On the TVP website, we have enhanced management reporting for better tracking and management of tax transcript requests. The All Orders management report now includes a new column called Originating User that displays name of the user that placed the order. The username will be tracked and reported no matter if the order is from an LOS interface, EPN, or from your clients logging in directly to TVP.

How to use this feature:
Login as a manager user at TVPPro.com, then click the Reports menu, and in the Standard Reports section, expand the All Orders report, choose a date range, and click Run Report.  The resulting CSV file will now display the new Originating User column.

TVP: Assist Your Users with Registering Their IP Addresses on Login
To make it easier for IP registration for system users while maintaining high security levels, manager users can now register IP addresses for other users. Manager users will be able to register IP addresses for other users in their organization as well as for lender users. This will be helpful in situations where the user does not have access to their email, can’t find the email, the email link is altered due to email security protocols, etc.

How to use this feature:
Login as a manager user at TVPPro.com, and from the menu at left click Provider Setup.  Move to the Users (person icon) tab, click the down-arrow that corresponds to a user, and click Edit User.  You will see a new field at the bottom called Add IP Address.  Access the user’s IP address, then copy and paste (or type) it into this field, and click the Add IP button.  Then Save your changes.  You can register lender user IP addresses in the same manner: by viewing the Client Setup menu, opening a client into the Client Information screen, moving to the Users tab, and adding the IP address.

TVP: Client Detail Screens Open in New Browser Tab for Ease of Use
We have enhanced the Client Setup screens in TVP make it easier to work with your clients and their branches. When you select a client company to view and work in it, the Client Information screen now opens into a new browser tab, much like when you open a tax transcript order. This will help you navigate through your client lists and work with clients and branches easier and faster.

How to use this feature:
There is nothing you need to do to enable this feature – it will work by default. When you login to TVPPro.com and click Client Setup, then expand and view a client company, the Client Information screen opens into a new browser tab.
