XOLX has the flexibility to allow users to work within a single supplement, or the entire file. To learn more about how to work in a full file, please refer to our complete Get Next feature guide HERE.
The following information relates to assigning and processing a single supplement.

Important Note on File Locking
XOP and XOLX communicate with each other, so if an updater/processor has the file open in XOP, the file is locked and other users cannot access it from XOLX or XOP. The same works the other way around: if an updater/processor has the file open in XOLX, the file is locked and other users cannot access it from XOLX or XOP.
If another user has file locked the order you are viewing, an overlay will be presented where you will see the username of the individual initially in the file. You can choose from two options: Read Only or Override.
The Read Only option will allow you to view the report, but you cannot make edits to the file. Additionally, you will not have access to file features, i.e., add Supplements, etc.
The Override option removes the lock from the initial user file lockout so both users can make edits and save changes in the same file.
Once the option from the overlay has been selected, you can work through the order normally.
Please note that selecting Cancel will direct you back to the order list view.
Let’s Start with Supplements Assigned to You
Begin by reviewing your current Items Completed to make sure you are on track for today/this week/month, and then take a look at Stats to see what’s on the schedule for today.
- Note: The Orange section of the bars, when clicked, filter the Supplements list to Rapid Rescores only.
Your Supplements tab shows all work assigned to you currently. You can toggle the interactive Stats widget to view other employee assignments as well as unassigned work and disputes that you can take ownership of. Click the orange sections to filter and view only Rapid Rescore requests.
The flags here show you the priority level of the supplement. You can hover over the flag to display what the color of the flag represents.
- Clear flag = Standard Priority
- Blue flag = Medium Priority
- Yellow flag = High Priority
- Orange flag = Rapid Rescore or TU Quick Check
- Red flag = Dispute
Click on a supplement to go directly to the request detail. To orient yourself, select any of the available tabs, and/or scroll up to the top of the page to view order and Client Information and Client Instructions. The account information will be appended to the supplement request and displayed just below.
If you want to work on this file, make sure to click the Take Ownership button to assign this work to yourself. Please note: if the overall file is unassigned, the Take Ownership feature will assign the entirety of the file to you, including all Supplements associated with the file.
To prevent working in excessive windows or web browser tabs, you can compose and send an email to the requestor without having to leave the Supplement page, via clicking on the 'User' hyperlink.
This action will open your default email application to compose and send your email to the designated recipient, with the recipient’s email address automatically populated for your convenience. To verify that the email is being sent to the appropriate user, you can hover over the User hyperlink to quickly view the email address.
Check your Client Instructions (found at top right of the page), then review the work being requested, and scroll down to the account to begin work.
Use the Attachments tab to view any files that were included with the supplement request. The number on the tab will state how many attachments have been included. Attachments will be displayed with a date they were added for tracking purposes.
To view the attachment, select the eye icon. This will open the attachment in a new tab.
Should you need to remove the attachment, select the red X.
You can upload any necessary attachments to the request via the Upload File or Drag File Attachment Here sections. This will upload the file to the entire request. To upload a file to a specific supplement, view the supplement in the Disputes/Supplements section and upload your file there.
Click the linked Creditor name to access your rolodex. Then update the account per the work being requested by you client. Note that you can Save your work at any time from the Save button at top. Please note that work is not auto-saved – you must click Save to make sure your changes are saved.
If your client calls in to request a supplement, simply open the request that needs service, scroll down to locate the account in question, expand it, then click the Add Supplement option and fill out the service request. This will mark the account as needing a supplement and add it to the Disputes/Supplements queue.
To print a verification or rapid rescore form, scroll up to the Disputes/Supplements area, locate the newly-supplemented account, and click the hamburger button at right and select the action you want to perform: either Print Verification or Print Rapid Re-score.
- Please Note: to print the verification or the Rapid Rescore form, the account must already be in Supplementing and listed in the Disputes/Supplements section.
Raw data can be found below the account detail in the Unmerge section – click the down-arrow at right to expand and view current raw information and all other bureau raw information.
To reset any edited account information, right-click within the displayed bureaus listed. Once you right-click on the appropriate trade, you can use that bureau's data as the current trade. This will automatically update your Current trade with the data from that specific bureau.
Status the supplement as your work progresses: if you need to contact the creditor or are waiting for more info, change the status to Waiting and Save.
When the work being requested is done, set the status to Done. You will be prompted to update billing price/tax as needed.
Then you can either Save to be taken back to the prior screen, Cancel to undo your changes, or click Save & Print to save your work and go directly to the print screen to begin previewing and sending the updated file back to your client.
Clicking Save & Print is the fastest and easiest way to send updated report outputs back to clients by going straight to the Print screen, shown here.
- Note: You can also get to the Print screen from the menu at left.
To notify the client user of report delivery, at the top check the checkboxes to send emails to the Client user that ordered the report, the User that ordered the supplement, and any Processors at the client office.
Find the Supplement output, and click the down arrow to expand it. Select a Report Header, and enable/disable any addons you need for this client. Click the paper icon to preview the output. Click the arrow-paper icon to send the report to the mailbox. This will also send any email notifications you selected.
You can also send the output to more than just the user that placed the order via the Destination Override feature. This allows processors to select from a user list of any active user under that client company, enter the user's name (or whatever you prefer) into the Attention field, and send that output to the select user's client side mailbox. Click the icon highlighted here to use this feature.
- For additional information on printing files, see the Printing Files article.
Billing
Access the Billing tab to view and reconcile all billing items for this request. You can add charges, credits and payments directly from the Billing tab.
Expand via the arrow to the right, each billing item to view the detail for an individual entry.
Click the plus sign at right to add a new Charge, Credit or Payment, then fill in the detail for this item and Save.
Edit Log
Utilize the Edit Log to view the edits performed within a Supplement according to the date and timestamp of when the action occurred, the User that performed the action, and a brief description of what was adjusted. Hover over the menu and the left and click Edit Log.
The Edit Log list will be shown from newest activity to oldest activity, according to the date/timestamp of when that action took place.
- Note: to view a more extensive description of what was adjusted, expand the down-arrow.
