XpertOnline Release Information for
Friday Morning, Sept, 25th, 2020

Starting Friday morning, September 25th, 2020, a new version of XOP and the XpertOnline client side will be available.  This release includes the ability to upload batches of files to UDM services for monitoring, PDF consumer report delivery to LOS’s, score disclosure emailing enhancements for consumer consent, and more.  Read on for complete information.

Start Monitoring Multiple Files at the Same Time with Batch UDM Ordering
Your clients can now easily send batches of requests to the bureaus to enable undisclosed debt monitoring services.  Available to users with Administrator user rights, your clients can upload lists of files to monitor, and download alerts in a specified date range from the client side of XpertOnline.  Batch UDM uploads will utilize whatever bureau you are set up for by default, and will utilize the same pricing that you already have in place.  For example, if you are setup to use a 2 bureau UDM, files will be sent to both bureaus, and pricing will be applied per file.

Important Information about UDM Batch Uploads:
  • No additional setup or configuration is required in XOP.  If you have at least one UDM setup for a client with pricing, the Batch Upload option will be available to all administrator-level users on that client.
  • Whatever bureau or bureaus the client is setup with will be monitored.
  • Both applicant and co-applicant will be monitored.
  • Pricing will reflect what you have setup in XOP.

How to use this feature:
Your clients will need to have a formatted CSV file prepared to upload.  The CSV file needs to be formatted into columns as follows.  Each request will represent 1 row in the CSV file.  There is no limit to how many requests to send for monitoring.
  1. Column 1 – Reference number. The XpertOnline credit reference number.
  2. Column 2 – Flag.  Enter “A” to begin monitoring, or “C” to cancel monitoring of this file.
  3. Column 3 – Requestor email. Email address of person requesting monitoring.  This should be the email address of the person or persons that will be notified when there are new alerts to download.  Multiple email addresses should be separated by a semicolon.

To start monitoring, make sure you can easily access your UDM-formatted CSV file.  Then, login to the client side of XpertOnline as an Administrator user, go to the Admin tab, and click the Batch UDM Ordering link.  When the Batch UDM Ordering page opens, click the Choose File button, and access your CSV file.  Once it is uploaded to this page, click Upload Batch.  You should receive a confirmation message that the file was successfully uploaded.  If you receive an error message, you may need to check the formatting of the CSV file, as it needs to be formatted to the specifications above.

To check and download UDM alerts, from the Batch UDM Ordering page, find the Download UDM Alerts section.  Enter a date range (start date, end date) for the alerts you wish to find, and click Download Alerts.  Any matching alerts will be made available for you in a ZIP file that you can download.  The ZIP file will contain PDF files of all UDM alerts for that reference number/borrower.
Provide Access to the PDF Consumer Copy Version in Your Clients’ LOS
Oftentimes, your clients want to have the consumer copy of the credit report available to them from their LOS. You can now configure your XOP products to have this happen, providing your clients with both the PDF Lender Report and the PDF Consumer Report back into their LOS. When enabled, both versions of the report will be contained in a single PDF file for your clients to access and work with.

How to use this feature:
Access your client’s product lists, and find the product you want to work with. Open the product you want to modify, find the outputs, and set the PDF Consumer Report output to Optional on the product.  Then, click on the PDF Lender Report output, click the Addons button, find the output addon called Append Consumer Report, and set it to Selected.  When you are finished, make sure to Save your changes.  On save, when this product is ordered from the LOS, both the PDF Consumer Report and the PDF Lender Report will be combined into a single PDF file and sent back to the LOS for your clients.

Consumer Consent Option Added to Score Disclosure Emailing Service
We have enhanced the score disclosure emailing service in XOP to include an optional consumer consent form for electronic delivery for due diligence.  This allows your clients to obtain consent for the electronic delivery of the Home Loan Applicant Notice from the consumer before emailing so that your clients are safe from any potential compliance concerns.  Take advantage of the convenience and cost savings with added safety and soundness and start using the score disclosure emailing service if you haven’t already!

How to use this feature:
If you are already using the score disclosure email service, contact Bryan Sawyer to enable the consumer consent requirement. You can provide your own verbiage for the consent form. Once it is set, the initial email to the borrower will have your consumer consent verbiage displayed with an I Agree button.  When the consumer clicks the button, the date, time, IP address, and reference number are logged.  Then the consumer will then be taken to the score disclosure / Notice to Home Loan Applicant documents.  If the consumer does not click the I Agree button, or 48 hours have passed without the consumer clicking I Agree, the score disclosure will be moved automatically to the print queue for printing and mailing.
