Provide Your Clients with a Better Way to Close More Loans with CreditXpert® Wayfinder™

Wayfinder Available Friday Morning, Jan. 25th, 2019, Replaces Essentials

We are excited to announce that XOP and the client side of XpertOnline will be updated with the new CreditXpert® Wayfinder™ product on Friday morning, January 25th, 2019. Starting Friday morning, when you and your users login to XOP, you will be prompted to install a new XOP version. Once installed, you can use XOP to enable Wayfinder for clients that aren’t currently using CreditXpert products.

Wayfinder Overview
Wayfinder is the next generation of the CreditXpert Essentials product that you know and love, but goes beyond what Essentials can do:
 
Wayfinder automatically evaluates hundreds of options, then gives your clients simple, step-by-step plans to get a better borrower score. That makes them look like a credit expert.
 
CreditXpert is providing CRAs with a number of marketing options for their clients to get the word out about Wayfinder.
Wayfinder Replaces Essentials
This Wayfinder release will replace the CreditXpert Essentials product in XOP. Our goal with this release is to make the transition as seamless and simple as possible for you and your clients. If you have Essentials currently setup for clients, they will automatically be setup for Wayfinder, and the pricing that you have set on your products for Essentials will automatically be set for Wayfinder.

Wayfinder will also replace Essentials on the client side of XpertOnline.  For any clients that have recently run Essentials, they will see a Wayfinder link in place of the Essentials link, and they can run Wayfinder on the same order.  They will not be charged again for usage of Wayfinder if they run Essentials on the same order.















When they run Wayfinder, they will be presented with a screen similar to Essentials: they will be prompted to select an applicant, then select the bureau or bureaus.  Note that the Cash and Target Score options are gone, since Wayfinder interactively allows users to work with this information.  They will see the amount they will be charged per bureau, and the number of days they have left to run Wayfinder before incurring another charge.  The Place Order button will run Wayfinder for the select applicant and bureau(s).

Wayfinder Setup in XOP
Wayfinder can be enabled for clients the same way that Essentials was enabled. Simply find a client (Setup | Clients), and once you have located the client you want to enable, you can move to the Setup tab, find the CreditXpert Products section, and check the Wayfinder checkbox.

Wayfinder pricing is also set the same that Essentials was: on the bureau access as an Access Addon. 
  1. Once you find a client you want to enable, move to the Setup tab, click the Lookup Product List button.
  2. Once you are in the product list, select a product, go into the Product Detail, and expand the accesses on the product. 
  3. Then, click on a bureau access, click the Addons button, and you will see the CreditXpert Wayfinder option.  When you double-click this option, you will see the pricing fields for individual and joint (and tax for each).
  4. Set the Wayfinder addon to Optional so that it can be run manually, after the credit report has returned.  Remember – when enabling CreditXpert, you will want to make sure that you also have the Force Joint Access as Separate addon set to Selected as well.

 
CreditXpert What-If Simulator Order Screen Enhancement
In addition to the Wayfinder release, we have enhanced the What-If Simulator order screen so that it works just like the Wayfinder order screen: your clients select the applicant, and then select which bureaus they want to work with for that applicant.  The goal is to make the two product ordering screens uniform to make them easier to use and reduce confusion.

CreditXpert Detective to be Retired
CreditXpert has retired the Detective product, as Wayfinder will do all the work Detective did.  You will no longer see it as an option to enable on your clients in XOP.  You may, however, still see Detective on your billing files for the next month or two as those recently-run Detective files get billed and paid for.
