Ability to Enable FCRA Bill of Rights on
Score Disclosures

Small XOP Update Scheduled for Tomorrow Morning, 1/11/2019

A few of you have reached out to us and indicated that you have a need to add the FCRA Bill of Rights to your score disclosures that you send out to borrowers on behalf of your clients.

We are going ahead with a small, fast update to XOP so that you can do this. Starting tomorrow morning, Friday, January 11th, 2019, you will be able to set XOP up so that, when score disclosures are either printed or emailed, the FCRA Bill of Rights will be appended to your score disclosures.  Please note that this will not require the installation of a new version of XOP.

If you don’t have a need to enable this on your score disclosures, you don’t have to do anything, and this will not impact you.

If you are going to enable the FCRA Bill of Rights on your printed/emailed score disclosures, here’s how to do it.  Please keep in mind that doing this will increase the number of printed pages from 2 to 6 pages per borrower.
  1. Anytime after tomorrow morning, January 11th, 2019, login to XOP, go to the Setup | Clients menu option, and find the client whose score disclosures you want to add the FCRA Bill of Rights to.
  2. Move to the Setup tab, and click the Lookup Product List button.
  3. Search and find the product list that you want to update.  Please keep in mind that any clients that share this product list will also be updated.
  4. Expand the product list and find the product or products that you want to enable, click on the product, then click the Product Detail button.
  5. Expand the Outputs section, then locate the PDF Score Disclosure output, and set it to Optional. 
    1. Note that, if you already have the PDF Score Disclosure set to Selected on this product, you can move directly to the Addons list for this output.
  6. In the Addons list, locate the Include FCRA Bill of Rights addon, and set it to Selected.
     
  1. Save your changes.
  2. This will automatically print the FCRA Bill of Rights at the end of the score disclosure.  If you are setup to email score disclosures, this will add the FCRA Bill of Rights to the end of the score disclosure.
