XOP Release Scheduled for
Friday Morning, February 23rd, 2018

We have scheduled an update to XOP starting Friday morning, February 23rd, 2018. A new version of XOP will be installed automatically over your existing version upon initial login on the 23rd.  This new version includes several system enhancements, such as the ability to charge a tax amount for those of you offering the PitchPoint public records solution, the reporting of a new XPN File Locked alert message, and more.  Review the details below for complete information.

PitchPoint Public Record Update: Add Tax to the price of products
Many of you have found success increasing your revenue by delivering public records reports to your clients. We have enhanced the pricing section of the client setup screen so that you can add in a tax amount that will be added to the price in states where tax is required. Remember that public records are billed per applicant.

Not offering public records to your clients yet?  Check out the linked materials below. Some of our CRAs are seeing significant revenue increases in offering this, and the Cheat Sheet has helped them with the sales process.  It can help you too!

How to use this feature:
Install the new version of XOP, then find the client you want to add a public record tax amount for. Move to the Setup tab, find the PitchPoint Public Record Fee section, and enter the tax amount that you would like to charge.  Save your changes.

Appended PDF Consumer Report Now Masks SSNs on all reported AKAs/Sources of Information
Many of you append the PDF consumer report to the PDF Lender Report to reduce the number of outputs on a request and to have a consumer copy readily available. Now, you can control whether SSNs are masked on all listed AKAs and in the Sources of Information section on the appended PDF Consumer Report from the PDF Lender Report. You can do this with the newly added Hide SSN on AKAs for Consumer Copy that is available on the PDF Lender Report addon list.

How to use this feature:
In XOP, you can find the client whose product you want to enable this for, then open that product list, locate the product you want to update, and click the Product Detail button.  In the Outputs, find the PDF Lender Report, open the Addons, find the Hide SSN on AKAs for Consumer Copy, and set it to Selected.  Don’t forget to save your changes.

File Locked Message from XPN Now Shows in Alerts, Suppresses XPN Data
Experian has recently been sending a very specific “File Locked” message back to XpertOnline when the consumer has locked their data at the bureau. We are now reporting this File Locked message in the Alerts section of the returned PDF report, and reporting the same message in the Alerts tab within XOP. When a file has been locked at XPN by the consumer, no XPN data will return. If this happens on a three-bureau file, TU and EFX will still be reported, but you will essentially be delivering a 2-bureau report back to your client: only TU and EFX data will be merged, processed and displayed on the report. At this time, we have not received any such message from either TU or EFX.

How to use this feature:
There is nothing you need to do to get this feature.  It is enabled by default, and the File Locked message will be showed in the Alerts (on the credit report and in XOP) whenever XPN returns it.

Coming Soon: New Barcoding and e-Faxing Solution Adds Efficiency to Your Supplement Process
We are pleased to announce a new feature coming soon that all but eliminates paperwork when ordering and processing supplements.  We are preparing to release an e-faxing solution for ordering supplements, barcoding them, then attaching the completed supplement to the request when it returns.  We are in a Beta testing phase for this new feature that you can use to generate more revenue and increase process efficiency.  Expect more detail in the next couple of weeks as we finalize this exciting new feature for you.
