Multi-Platform TRV Ordering and Processing Enhancements
Starting Friday Morning, December 11th, 2020, we are planning to enhance both the EPN settlement services platform and the TVP income verification system with new TRV features and enhancements. This release includes a streamlined ordering process within EPN for TRV orders, and enhancements to the TVP web site IRS Processor (scraper utility) under your Manager account. Read on for complete detail.
TVP: New IRS Integration Reduces Time Spent Managing the IRS Processor We are excited to announce enhancements to the IRS Processor (aka scraper) based on a new integration we have with the IRS. Integration, you may ask? Yes! The IRS has released a more efficient way to validate your IVES logins, and we hope that it will not only reduce the time spent managing the constant IRS system logouts and Processor restarts, but will pave the way for a potential tax transcript integration (we can dream right?).
How the New Login Integration Works When the IRS Processor needs to be restarted, instead of calling us to restart, you can login to the TVP system with your manager account and click the IRS Processor Status menu option. The Start button is now active and can be clicked on.
Click the Start button to be securely redirected to the IRS site, where you will see a new login page that looks like this.
Here you can enter your IVES account username, password, and PIN. Upon successful validation, you will be shown a Permissions Page which allows the new integration to continue to function (this will only happen the first time you enter your IVES credentials). Once completed, you will automatically be directed back to the TVP web site. If you run into any issues or have questions, you can always contact us for assistance at (800)452-1174 option 4, or EPNSupport@SharperLending.com. |

EPN: Product Selection Defaults for TRVs Assist with Easier Ordering As part of our ongoing user friendliness efforts, your clients will be able to order TRVs from EPN faster and with less data entry in this release. When any of the TRV products are selected, the Form field will automatically default to 1040 since it is the most- selected form. Additionally, the Applicant drop down will now default to Borrower since that is the most common selection across all your clients.
The only exception to this is when any Business TRV forms are chosen in the Form drop down list (Business forms include 1065, 1120, 940, 941, and 706). When a client chooses a business form, the Applicant drop down list will automatically change to Business to make ordering easier.
How to use this feature Your clients will experience the new ordering defaults when they login to EPN, click the New Order menu option, and add a TRV to the order. When they choose a product, they will see that the Form and Applicant information is auto-filled with 1040 and Borrower respectively. If they change a Form and select a business form, the Applicant default will automatically change to Business to expedite the ordering process. |

EPN: Add Multiple Business TRVs on a Single Request Sometimes borrowers can have several businesses under their name. EPN now allows your clients to enter multiple business TRVs – and business tax IDs – on a single tax transcript request. They can also attach a unique 4506-T to each.
How to use this feature When ordering a new TRV and a business form is selected, the user can populate the data for the first TRV order, and click the Add New TRV button to add another business to this same TRV order. Orders with multiple business form requests will be processed and returned successfully.
