TVP, EPN System Updates Scheduled for
Friday Morning, October 19th 2018

Starting Friday morning, October 19th, 2018, both the EPN and TVP systems will be enhanced with new features to help you and your clients work more efficiently.
  • PitchPoint public record searches will be available in EPN, along with MLR processing and auto-email notification updates.
  • TVP will be enhanced with new management reports, and a new option to automatically combine transcript years.
Read this bulletin for complete detail on TVP and EPN enhancements.

EPN System Enhancements

PitchPoint Public Record Searches Now Available in EPN
You can now sell the PitchPoint Public Records search to your clients in EPN! The PitchPoint service is an instant product that will return to your clients in 30 seconds or less. Since the amount of public record data on credit reports has been decreased, this is an opportunity for you to provide much needed data to your clients (if you aren’t already), and to increase your bottom line.

Getting Started
Here’s how to get started offering PitchPoint Public Records to your clients.
  1. Please download, review, sign, and return the EPN Public Record Reseller Addendum to us.

  2. Get your reseller credentials from PitchPoint (if you don’t have them already) to enable the Public Records Search in EPN.  To do this, contact Ron Hughes to get the PitchPoint agreement for public record searches.  If you already have reseller credentials that you are using in the XpertOnline system, you can reuse these codes in EPN.  All you need to do is get us the signed EPN Public Record Reseller Addendum, and we will make this vendor available to you.

  3.  Once you have your reseller credentials, contact us and we will help enable PitchPoint Public Records for the clients and branches you want enabled.
MLR Update to Automatically Cancel/Refund First MLR if Second MLR is Ordered
To help with MLR processing, the EPN system will now automatically cancel an existing MLR order if a second MLR product is ordered on the same loan. When this happens, the original billing amount on the first MLR will be credited back to the account, and the second MLR will be actively billed for. Note that, if the existing MLR is in a status of Review, and a second MLR is ordered on the same loan, the existing MLR will stay in that Review status, and the second MLR will remain in a Completed status on the loan.

How to use this feature:
If you offer MLRs to your clients, there is nothing you need to do to take advantage of this feature.  Whenever a second MLR order is placed on a loan file that already has an existing MLR on it, the existing MLR will be cancelled and the cost refunded, and the second MLR will be completed and billed for.

Automatic Emails Now Include Vendor, Product Information
You can now identify at a glance which vendor and product your auto-email notifications are about in EPN. In addition to basic loan and borrower information, the newly-enhanced automatic emails that EPN sends out regarding status changes, orders, messages, etc., will now contain the vendor and product that the email is concerning. This includes both system to system vendors/products as well as custom vendors/products.

How to use this feature:
Open an automatic email notification after the release date, and read its contents. You will now see Vendor Name and Product Name information.

TVP System Enhancements

Transcript Years Now Combined into One Returned PDF
When completed transcripts are returned from the IRS, TVP will now combine all of the years on an individual form type into a single PDF file so you and your clients can access all transcript years in one place.

How to use this feature:
Login to TVP and open a completed order. On the Forms tab, find the Attachments column, and on the Delivery link next to any completed form request, click on the Transcript.pdf file.  When the file opens, you will see that the PDF includes all transcript years that were requested for that form.

Tighter Activity and Management Reporting Available on Custom Reports
There are several new options available that you can include in your custom reports in the TVP system’s Reporting screens.  In our efforts to continually make custom reporting as comprehensive as possible, these new data points can now be included in the reports you and/or your users create:
  • Originator Name – Name of user who placed the order.
  • Originator Code – Assigned code of the user passed back to TVP through the interface (if one exists).
  • Lender Name – Name of lender company that placed the order.
  • Lender Code – Assigned code of the lender company that placed the order.
  • Interface Contact – Name of the contact passed back to TVP through the interface (if one exists).
  • Interface – The name of the 3rd party interface the order originated in (if one exists).
  • Interface Refnum – Reference number assigned in the 3rd party interface (if one exists).
How to use this feature:
Login to TVP, click the Reports menu option at left, and click the Plus sign (+) at top right of the screen to add a new report with the new checkboxes.  You can also edit an existing custom report by maximizing a report, clicking Edit Report, and selecting any of the new checkboxes.

New Data on All Orders Report Provides More Detail on User Ordering Activity
The All Orders management report, available only to TVP manager users, will now include detail on the name of the user that placed the order from LOS interfaces.  When you run this report, a new column called Interface Contact will be available. When an order is placed from an LOS, such as Encompass, the name of the user that placed the order in the LOS will be displayed here.

How to use this feature:
Login to TVP, click the Reports menu option at left, and find the All Orders management report.  When you run this report, the Interface Contact column will be present on the resulting report.  If clients have ordered any 4506-T requests from an LOS like Encompass, the name of the LOS user will be displayed here.
