Friday Morning, March 16th, 2018
This Friday morning, March 16th, 2018, the EPN system will be updated for you and your clients. System enhances includes things like TRV ordering refinements when new forms are appended to existing orders, commercial flood indicators, and an expanded edit log for loan information. Please review the information below for complete detail.
- Streamlined TRV Process when Ordering Additional Forms on Existing Orders
It always happens: someone orders a TRV, and then half an hour later, or a day later, they need to place another tax form order on the same order. EPN has been enhanced so that these situations are easier tracked and managed in EPN and in TRV Provider. Now, when your client orders a new form on an existing TRV order, the added form will be attached to the existing order over in the TRV Provider system.
How to use this feature:
On any loan file that has an existing TRV order on it, your clients can go to the Products section, click the TRV drop down arrow at right, click the Edit Product button, and find and click on the new Add New TRV button. Your clients can then add the new form and click the Save Changes button back at the top of the section. When they click Save Changes, the new TRV will now be added to the existing order in TRV Provider and will be under the same reference number.
- Commercial/Business Flood Order Indicator Now Available
When your clients add a new flood order to a loan file, they now have the option to indicate if the order is for a business or a commercial flood determination. When doing so, they can then enter the name of the business prior to placing the order. This will help distinguish types of orders when your clients place them.
How to use this feature:
On some flood vendors, when your clients go to place a new flood order, they can choose the vendor and product they want, and then check the Business checkbox. They can then enter the name of the business in the new Business Name field. This helps so that your clients will no longer have to enter the business name into the borrower name fields.
- Edit Log Expansion Tracks all changes made to Loan File
We have been recording the edits and changes that your clients and your co-workers make within a specific product order in EPN. We have expanded the Edit Log so that it now shows at the loan level and tracks any and all edits made to the Order Information screen.
How to use this feature:
Login and open any order. There will be a new tab along the top called Logs. This tab tracks all changes made to the actual loan file. As a reminder there is an edit log that exists today on each of the products ordered. This new log will only be at the Loan level and will track changes made to the Order Information screen.
