IRS Requests IVES Participants Combine Wet and E-Signed 4506-T Batches

As you know, this week the IRS is requesting that IVES participants start sending wet-signed 4506-Ts and e-signed 4506-Ts in the same batch.  In the TRV Provider software, most of you use the Quick Send feature to submit batches of 4506-Ts quickly.  However, using the Quick Send feature will send e-signed batches and wet-signed batches separately. We will be working to enhance this process, but due to the short notice provided by the IRS, we are recommending two solutions that you can use today: The Workaround solution: in the Batch Management section, click the Custom Batch button, then select the 4506-Ts you want to include the batch. This can include both wet and e-signed 4506-Ts.   The Status Quo solution: Continue to use the Quick Send feature to send in your batches as you do today.
