SharperLending TVP Systems Ready for
New 4506-C Form
New Enhancements Available to Help with Transition to New Form

We are pleased to announce that our TVP systems are prepared and ready for the new 4506-C forms that take effect March 1st, 2021.  Nearly all of you have already started using the new form as well.

In TRV Provider, you will notice a couple new enhancements to make the transition to the new 4506-C form smoother.  These enhancements will be available in TRV Provider starting Wednesday morning, February 24th, 2021.  A new version of the TRV Provider application will be installed upon login.

New TRV Provider Option Lets You Insert Key Data Points onto Form
The new version of TRV Provider allows you to not only insert Line 5a information, but now the transcript Order Number as well, directly onto the form.  You can do this from the new option under the Insert menu along the top of the TRV Provider application.


How to use this feature
When you choose Insert | Order Number, the reference number (or order number) will be placed onto the 4506-C form, at top right. The IRS will then return this number on the transcripts. This will assist you in combining stuck transcripts with orders as well as provide an additional point of reference when reaching out to the IRS.

e-Signature Process Updated to Accommodate New 4506-C Form
For those of you that utilize the integrated electronic signature features for quickly gathering borrower signatures, we have enhanced the e-sign process to reflect the new 4506-C form upon completion.  Previewing e-signed documents in TVP displays the new form, and TRV Provider will also display the new form once the e-signature has been gathered.

How to use this feature
There is nothing you need to do to access the new form during the e-signature process.  It is available automatically.

New Options, Data Available in e-Sign Audit Report
The e-Sign Audit management report has been updated with more data for better tracking of audit information, plus a new file format is available for you to do more with your data.

  • When you run the e-Signature Audit report in TRV Provider, the zip file that is generated will now include a CSV-formatted version of the report along with the PDF.
    • You can use the CSV file to open you data in an Excel spreadsheet.
    • The PDF is available for easier viewing.
  • The Loan Number has been added to both versions of this report for enhanced cross-reference and tracking capabilities.
