CreditXpert's Cloud Platform Today!

Requirement Goes into Effect October 1, 2024

CreditXpert's new cloud-based platform is available today within XpertOnline. Although the expiration date for the current platform is a few months away, that time will go by fast.

We wanted to provide you with a letter from Renata SheynerVP of Product at CreditXpert, plus some additional information that may help you and your clients better understand the transition to the CreditXpert cloud platform.

If you have not already,
please download, review, sign and return the CreditXpert cloud platform addendum.
  • NOTE: CreditXpert is also offering an “As-A-Service” option. This option requires that you sign and return the addendum linked above. For more information on this option, please reach out directly to Jeff Braddock.

For questions about the CreditXpert cloud platform and the “As-A-Service” offering, please reach out to Jeff Braddock at jbraddock@creditxpert.com.  You can also reach out to Matt Brannon at Matt.Brannon@SharperLending.com.
Dear SharperLending CRAs,

We value your partnership in working to enable and upgrade our shared originator clients to the new CreditXpert cloud platform. As we approach the sunset date for legacy products, we wanted to remind you that access keys for CreditXpert products will automatically expire at 12AM EST on October 1, 2024.

What does this mean for originators?
Any originator that has not upgraded and onboarded to the new CreditXpert cloud platform by October 1, 2024, will be unable to access or use What-If-Simulator and Wayfinder. At that point, the originator will need to upgrade to the CreditXpert cloud platform to restore service, a process which could take between 2-6 weeks depending on several factors.

What does this mean for originators that created Wayfinder and What If Simulator Plans PRIOR TO October 1, 2024?
This likely depends upon how plans are stored in your environment. If plans are archived and accessible, originators should be able to view the last iteration of the plan generated prior to October 1, 2024. You will need to provide them a path to retrieve the files. If the plans are not archived and accessible, we suggest that you advise them to print all plans generated after August 1, 2024. Regardless of whether plans are archived / accessible, revisions to plans will not be allowed after October 1, 2024. The best way to ensure uninterrupted access to the tools they depend on is to ensure that originators upgrade to the new CreditXpert cloud platform as soon as possible.

What does this mean for originators that want to create plans AFTER October 1, 2024?
Once the access keys expire at 12AM EST on October 1, 2024, originators will NOT be able to generate credit optimization plans as they have in the past. If they click on a link in your environment or on a Credit Assure enabled credit report, they will likely encounter an error message as you will not be able to retrieve an optimization score preview. The best way to prevent a negative experience is to ensure that all originators are aware of the October 1, 2024, cutoff date as soon as possible so that they have an appropriate amount of time to upgrade to the new CreditXpert cloud platform.

Does the expiration of access keys impact your ability to display a CreditXpert potential score on credit reports through Credit Assure?
Once the keys expire, you will be required to utilize the cloud-based API integration to display Credit Assure on a credit report. Please note that the Credit Assure redesign with an embedded link to the CreditXpert Platform is a pre-requisite to obtain the updated information. If you have not completed the Credit Assure redesign by October 1, 2024, you will not have access to Credit Assure.

What does that mean for me?
We will continue to collaborate with you as we approach the sunset and provide thoughtful options to ensure that our shared originator clients retain access to CreditXpert’s tools. You may send any questions to Jeff Braddock at
jbraddock@creditxpert.com.
