SharperLending Solutions offers its CRAs and their clients a direct integration to Encompass® for all their origination and processing needs. Use this guide to assist in placing orders for Credit Reports from their preferred credit provider within the Encompass® by ICE Mortgage Technology® Inc. platform.
Create a new loan file within Encompass and enter the borrower / co-borrower first and last name, SSN, and current address information. Save your loan file.
From the Services menu, select Credit Report.
On the Credit Report screen that opens, find your credit provider in the Select a Credit Provider section. Click Submit. Should your Credit Provider not be listed, select the All Providers tab, find the provider you wish to use, and double-click the Provider name to add them to your My Providers tab.
On the Credit Report Request screen, enter your login credentials, then select Refresh Products to obtain the most current list of products from your credit provider. Then Select a Product from the dropdown, verify the borrower and co-borrower information is accurate. If it all looks good, click Finish to place your credit report request.
The file should return momentarily. Note that some of the options on the Credit Report Request may differ based on credit provider.
The consumer credit data including assets, liabilities, and score information, will be imported into Encompass. The credit report can be found in the eFolder.
