CreditXpert Cloud Platform Changes
Changes are coming to your CreditXpert offering – slated for release on December 31st, 2024 (delayed from 10-1-2024 which was the original release date).
So, what is changing in January of 2025? Several of the products that you offer today will be replaced with CreditXpert’s new Cloud Platform. This includes:
- Credit Assure – Will be replaced with the new and updated version of Assure that will display on your credit reports, but you must opt-in to provide it! More information provided later in this announcement. The new Assure page looks like this:
- What-If Simulator – Will be fully integrated into the Cloud platform and no longer available within XpertOnline.
- Wayfinder – Will be fully integrated into the Cloud platform and no longer available within XpertOnline.
There are two different business offerings that SharperLending and CreditXpert will be providing to you and your clients.
SharperLending Addendum – the SharperLending Addendum (linked below) enables your clients to utilize a relationship with CreditXpert to pay for a subscription service. The subscription is an Always-On service, meaning that Credit Assure will be turned on with every credit report that is delivered to that client. Review, Sign and Return this addendum, which is attached here for your convenience.
- As-A-Service Offering – This is an agreement with CreditXpert directly. The As-A-Service offering from CreditXpert is a newer offering that puts CRAs in charge of enabling clients, billing clients, and servicing them with CreditXpert’s cloud platform tools. Sign up for this option by contacting CreditXpert's Jeff Braddock at jbraddock@creditxpert.com.
CRAs may sign both agreements. The SharperLending Addendum and the As-A-Service offering maximize flexibility, giving CRAs and your clients more options. Regardless, executing one of these agreements enables you to offer the full CreditXpert suite of products to your clients and ensures that you get paid per the terms of that agreement.
When you return your signed SharperLending Addendum, our team will notify CreditXpert. CreditXpert will activate your organization's name as a Credit Reporting Agency so lenders can choose you when they sign up through CreditXpert on the CreditXpert web site.
Once a client has signed up for CreditXpert's new Cloud Platform, the following may occur:
- CreditXpert will assign that client a LenderID.
- Once your client gets a LenderID, the client must provide the CreditXpert issued LenderID to you for entry in XOP.
- Once you enter the Lender ID and Save, that client will receive the new Credit Assure product on all credit reports going forward. Clients can click the Choose Plan link to login to the CreditXpert Cloud Platform to run What-If Simulator, Wayfinder, and other CreditXpert products.
When you return your SharperLending Addendum, it is possible that some of your clients may not have signed up directly with CreditXpert.
CRAs can enable Credit Assure for clients without the ability to Choose a Plan. This may entice your clients to sign up with CreditXpert directly and upgrade their experience. To display Credit Assure for those clients that have not signed up, follow these steps:
- Open a client in XOP, move to the Setup tab, and check the CreditXpert Platform checkbox.
- In the LenderID field, enter the word DEMO. This allows your clients to see how the new Credit Assure works at no cost to them. Checking the Platform checkbox and entering DEMO into the LenderID field provides authorization to SharperLending that you agree to send your data to CreditXpert to generate the new Credit Assure page.
What Happens if I Sign CreditXpert's As-A-Service Agreement?
This agreement would be between you and CreditXpert. Reach out to Jeff Braddock at jbraddock@creditxpert.com for complete information on this agreement.
If neither agreement is signed, SharperLending Solutions cannot legally send your data to CreditXpert without your authorization. Starting October 1, your clients will see the below message on the Credit Assure page. Note that if you do not want this message to show, you can simply uncheck the Assure checkbox and not deliver the Credit Assure product to your clients. .
