Encompass’® New EPC Interface

Sample a Side-by-Side Interface Comparison for You & Your Clients

Working alongside Encompass® for the new SharperLending to Encompass Partner Connect (EPC) integration, our team is fully prepared for a General Availability release soon. To help with this effort, your clients can now experiment with EPC for a side-by-side comparison while continually working in their current interface! 

The only prerequisite is that your clients must be using the SmartClient application that is installed on their desktop. If your clients use the Encompass web-interface, the option to have both interfaces run simultaneously is not currently available. 

In other words, clients can continue to use their current interface. If they have one or two Admin-type users that want to try out the EPC interface, they can! Clients’ current interface usage will not change. 

The new EPC interface has multiple benefits: 

  • New options under the Request Type drop-down list for upgrading products.

  • Private labeling options for your company logo. 

  • Prequal and Pre-Approval identifiers. 

  • More accurate naming of ordered products. 

  • Build familiarity with this new interface, which will be required by Encompass, starting October 2025. 

How It Works 

Encompass has recently added a new entry in their Order Credit Report list called ‘SharperLending – EPC.’ This new entry is available in the All Providers list. Your clients can add the ‘SharperLending-EPC’ entry to their list of credit providers to load the new interface, enter XpertOnline login credentials like they do today, and place orders. 

Since the ‘SharperLending – EPC’ entry directs to XpertOnline Production, client can test out one or two orders for live borrowers, or they can use approved test files – either option will work. 

Adding ‘SharperLending – EPC’ to My Providers will allow your clients to have both options side-by-side and not disrupt their current workflow.
