Enhancements Information for Managers
 

Our May 2025 enhancements release is teeming with all-new features and compliance focused improvements. Available Thursday, May 1, 2025, Appraisal FirewallX is deploying more visibility for borrower pricing disclosures, veritable proof of report delivery methodology, updating how temporary passwords are handled, and an abundance of Encompass® Partner Connect (EPC) additions! Release Notes

  • Borrowers Notified of Maximum Fee: New Expected Appraisal Price section added to Payment Required emails. Discloses the maximum price the borrower can expect charged to their credit card. Requires Notify Borrower of Appraisal Price to be enabled.
  • Updated eDelivery Proof Documentation: Added borrower(s) email address fields and incorporated the lender’s stored ROV disclosure letter into the Borrower Appraisal & Terms eDelivery outputs for transparency purposes.
  • Restructured Temporary Password Management: Fully revamped how to reset user passwords, to increase security advancements. New notifications sent to users with randomly generated temporary passwords, prompting users to change password upon next login.  
  • 1073H Form Debuts: 1073 Hybrid (1073H) form now available per Fannie Mae®’s February 5, 2025, announcement. By default, the 1073H product has been automatically enabled for ordering. Fixed pricing, order routing, & UCDP/EAD submissions will be honored.


Encompass® Partner Connect (EPC) Updates

  • File Contacts Imported to New Order Form: Encompass Loan Officer and Processor users automatically attached to new order form when File Contacts’ profiles match existing Appraisal FirewallX accounts.
  • Auto-Populate Date Required: Supplying the custom Date Required field (field ID: CX.Appraisal.DateRequired) automatically maps to the appropriate Appraisal FirewallX Date Required field on the new order form. NOTE: entering this date in Encompass will override the Appraisal FirewallX division setting Set Due Date _ Business Days IF enabled.
  • Date Required Maps Back: Appraisal FirewallX’s Date Required field (if provided) automatically maps back to Encompass's Date Required field (field ID: CX.Appraisal.DateRequired).
  • Separated Appraiser Information Fields: Customize which appraiser information fields are returned to Encompass.
  • Retrieve Borrower Supplied ROVs: Borrower-initiated ROV documentation now returns to the eFolder.
  • Redundant Appraisal Reports: Mitigated duplicates of the appraisal report from returning to the eFolder. Only the most recent version of the report will be retrieved. NOTE: if Send Documents When Delivered AND Auto Send Each Appraisal Copy to Borrower settings are enabled, multiple copies of the report will still be returned.
  • Sales Price/Estimated Value Fields Mapping: When supplied via Encompass, the Sales Price/Estimated Value (field ID: 136) automatically populates to the corresponding Appraisal FirewallX order field.
  • Mapping the Estimated Closing Date: Automatically applies the Estimated Closing Date (field ID: 763) to the related Appraisal FirewallX order field.
  • Investor Data Populates: Investor’s name (field ID: VEND.X263) imports from Encompass to the correlating Appraisal FirewallX order field.    
  • Improved DocFileIDs Visibility: UCDP/EAD DocFileIDs now available within Encompass.
