SharperLending has been hard at work with Freddie Mac on their new MISMO-based requirements for CRCs. That work is about to come to fruition when Freddie Mac upgrades all existing seller-servicers and TPOs to the new connection this Sunday, June 22, 2025.

With a MISMO-based upgrade comes increased efficiency and transaction speed, with the ability to automate pipeline monitoring, plus we can troubleshoot potential technical difficulties with ease.

You don’t need to do anything in anticipation of this upgrade. This is all on the Freddie Mac side. Starting on June 22, Freddie Mac will re-route all your New and Reissue traffic via LPA through their new and improved connection.

The impact on your clients should be slim to none, as we have been validating, working out the kinks, and hardening this connection with Freddie Mac for the last six months. Freddie Mac has confirmed that it is fully ready for production enablement.
