Freddie Mac is planning to require TransUnion’s PP11 segment for 82-months’ worth of payment history in early 2026.

We have been made aware that TransUnion has an end-of-year moratorium scheduled for November 8, 2025, through January 1, 2026, for PP11 segment enhancements to subscriber codes.

With Freddie Mac’s year-end deadline looming, TransUnion shared earlier this summer that they are implementing PP11 in two waves. This implementation was to ensure activating potentially thousands of subscriber codes does not overwhelm their teams.

• Wave 1 took place in September 2025
• Wave 2 is scheduled for November 2025

For Wave 2, Resellers can still submit their list of their Subscriber Codes by next Friday, October 17th, 2025, and TransUnion will activate the Subscriber Codes in November.

TransUnion has indicated that should bureau codes not be received by Wave 2 (October 17, 2025), as the Freddie Mac Technical Affiliate you will slide to January 2026 for implementation.

What You Can Do Today

Please work with your TU Reps to ensure your TU codes include the PP11 segment data. Specifically, any product that you offer, which could potentially be reissued into LPA, should be configured via your access to request it.

Based on our understanding, this is a bureau-level setting on your code, and once it is enabled, it will always be on at TransUnion.
