Submitting the new UAD 3.6 form type appraisal reports to the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) or Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) will still require the feature to be enabled and credentials entered on the division. For guidance on how to enable these settings, please refer to our Enabling & Submitting UCDP or FHA Orders article.

IMPORTANT: HUD announced in August 2025 that EAD submissions will not be available until Spring 2026. Read the update HERE on page 91

Pre-Submission Steps for UCDP

Conventional loan types eligible to be reviewed by UCDP can be performed through Appraisal Firewall X, via our direct integration. This activity can occur automatically (based on settings) or manually. For the new UAD 3.6 form, the following appraisal types are accepted:

  • URAR - Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (UAD 3.6)
  • Restricted Appraisal Update Report (UAD 3.6)
  • Completion Report (UAD 3.6)

New requirements for submitting UAD 3.6 reports to UCDP will require the appraiser to deliver a ZIP file of the report. The ZIP file must contain the XML version of the appraisal report and the PDF version of the appraisal report. UCDP will continue to ingest the XML version of the report to perform their reviews prior to generating Submission Summary Report (SSR) results.

Submitting to UCDP

Regardless of whether the appraisal report is sent automatically (i.e., at time of delivery/post-delivery configurations) or manually, Appraisal Firewall X will import the UCDP results and generate the SSR Successful or Not Successful outputs. NOTE: a .JSON output will be included within the SSR output result. This output is intended to provide lenders with more autonomy to parse out any data necessary

Viewing UCDP SSR Outputs

To view the results, access the output via the Communications Log or Documents tab. UCDP has redesigned the output(s) to align with the UAD 3.6 modernization application in a decipherable format. Below is an example of how the new outputs may appear. NOTE: UCDP will no longer permit overriding hard stops. Any Severity returned as a 'Fatal' finding from Fannie Mae® or Freddie Mac® must result in an updated appraisal submission.
