Enhancements Information for Managers
Appraisal Firewall X is kicking off this summer with a plethora of unique system enhancements, available Friday, June 19, 2026. This highly anticipated release reveals our revitalized look and feel of Appraisal Firewall X. Plus, we are introducing several Encompass Partner Connect® (EPC) & UAD 3.6 updates, a new LOS integration, and an exciting new valuation product. Encompass® Partner Connect (EPC) & UAD 3.6 Updates
- Smarter SSR Delivery by Loan Type: UCDP & EAD SSR outputs are now delivered to the eFolder by loan type – providing easier visibility and curation when using custom document mapping. Important: If clients currently use custom eFolder mapping for SSRs, they must update their Document Types to ensure the SSRs are routed appropriately. Refer to our custom document mapping article HERE for more information.
- Launch Supplemental Orders Within EPC: Appraisals linked to a parent order, i.e. Order 2nd or Order Reinspection, are now included on the Product Selection page. Any existing orders matching the loan number will be displayed with the form type and Appraisal Firewall X reference number, to aid users in choosing the correct order.
- Field Mapping Available on UAD 3.6: All existing UAD 2.6 field mapping options are now applied to UAD 3.6 forms. Additionally, field mapping for UAD 3.6’s newest fields (ADU Count, Rent Schedule, UAD 2025, Project Design Type, and Property Valuation Method Type) are available for mapping.
- UAD 3.6 Zip File Imports to eFolder: Aligning with the new UAD 3.6 requirements, zip file deliveries made by the appraiser are now eligible to be returned to the EPC eFolder! Appraisal Firewall X will continue to return the extracted XML and PDF versions of the appraisal report, just as it does today. NOTE: Returning the zip file to EPC must be enabled for your clients with Appraisal Firewall X’s Encompass® settings. Refer to our Returned Documents guide for more information.
- Completeness Check Generates on UAD 3.6: Enhanced the Completeness Check routine to run on UAD 3.6 orders. Now, when the zip file is delivered by the appraiser, Appraisal Firewall X will extract the XML version of the report, run it through the Completeness Check parameters, and generate an output accordingly. Functionality of the Completeness Check on UAD 2.6 orders remains the same.

- BPO Valuations Now Available: Expand client valuation offerings through Broker’s Price Opinion (BPO) products, only available within Appraisal Firewall X. Order Exterior and Interior/Exterior BPOs seamlessly, while offering clients more valuation opportunities to serve borrower needs. Interested in enabling these products? Check out our guide HERE. NOTE: BPOs will make their way to LOS integrations in the coming months. Stay tuned for more information!
- Dark Matter’s Exchange Integration Now Live: Dark Matter’s integration into Appraisal Firewall X is now available. Clients can place orders to Appraisal Firewall X directly from the Dark Matter Exchange platform. NOTE: LOSs that utilize the Dark Matter Exchange network, such as Empower or Blue Sage, will have Appraisal Firewall X available to them to place orders.
- Consolidated Appraisal Delivery Experience: We moved the Custom Email Message field to align with the manual borrower copy delivery options section. Users can still supply clear and personalized communications to their borrowers.
